sm Our appraisals are based on our experience and on our large database of actual domain name sales over the past 24 months. In appraising a domain name, we first identify several characteristics that we have found to be predictive of past sales prices. These include length, subject matter, embedded words, genericness, search strength, character layout, and a subjective factor. Based on these criteria, we search our database for comparable sales of names that closely match the criteria of the name being appraised. A correction factor is applied, if necessary, to adjust for differences between your name and the comps. Finally, the name is then appraised according to the average adjusted value of these comps.
